See this week's min's b2b to look at the performances of 1105 Communications, Advanstar and BNP Media, among other companies.

As we begin min’s b2b’s exclusive year-end group publishers coverage this week (March 2) we notice a familiar and unfortunate trend of ad pages from the top 55 publishers in the b2b industry—downward % compared to 2007. These 55 publishers (supplied by IMS) are based on the highest totals of ad pages in 2008 (Penton being the top). Below is a chart of the top 5 gainers—although only seven b2b publishers in all succeeded in achieving positive % gains in ad pages in 2008. As we have reported recently, Advertising Specialty Institute (+30.61%) has had a number of special issues and high volumes of inserts that have been driving page counts skyward at pubs such as Counselor and Advantages.
